Including the side roads, the bridge has a length of 55 kilometers and connects Hong Kong with Macau and then the town of Zhuhai, writes BBC, follows Klan Kosova.
This bridge is reported to have cost $20 billion.
The project to build it has had several disruptions, and as reportedly, 18 workers have died.
President Xi has attended the bridge opening ceremony that took place in Zhuhai where the leaders of Hong Kong and Macau attended this Tuesday.
This bridge for traffic will officially open on Wednesday.
