The explosive equipment package sent to CNN offices in New York today was addressed to former CIA director John Brenan, according to recent reports.
Brenan, an official in the Obama administration, is a frequent CNN and critical guest of Trump.
The device found in Columbus Circle's 10th room is similar to those addressed to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and George Soros, says a CNN source.
It is noteworthy that Brenan was director of the CIA during 2014-2017.
