Treaty The INF was signed in 1987.
“We will continue to work on nuclear disarmament, while Russia has also been urged to respect its” obligations, Anne stressed.

Treaty The INF was reached in 1987 between the US and the former Soviet Union, whose legal heirs are Russia. Former US President Ronald Reagan and the last Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, signed the agreement.
It envisions stops for the production, testing and systeming of nuclear and conventional nuclear missiles with a range of 500-1 500 km of land launching.
