China, as the Belgrade daily “Novosti” writes, will head the Security Council during November, and it will put the UN secretary-general's report on the situation in Kosovo in order. Great Britain, which headed the UN's KS during August, removed the quarterly report for Kosovo from the agenda.
Washington, who led the KS during September, did the same.
In November, according to this source, two quarterly reports on Kosovo will be considered. The latest report was reviewed at the May session.
Britain, France, the United States and a host of other Security Council member states have long sought to reduce the review of Kosovo reports, since the situation is not so frequent, but their proposal has not been passed due to Russia, China and any other country's opposition.
