The most important event in a country's society is marriages. It's no secret that marriages today are much different than those of old.
Today, people seek assurance to make a commitment like marriage, such as a secure job or income above average. Studies show that youths are marrying less and later than previous generations, and this is not just a global tendency.
INSTAT data shows that marriages have entered a falling trend in recent years, marking the highest record in 2017, according to INSTAT data in the Regional Statistics Annual.
In 2017 there were some 22,5 thousand marriages in civil offices and states. Shift this down by 0.4 % compared to the previous year, but a decline of 5.7 % compared to 2013. The number of marriages in our country has been fluctuating, reaching its lowest value in 2017 with about 22,5 thousand marriages, reports INSTAT.
But despite the decline, some of Albania's cities have not lost confidence in the institution of marriage.
They made a list of high costs for alcohol, but this is not the only record they hold. Lejeans have the highest number of marriages connected to 1,000 people in 2017. According to data published by INSTAT, the marriage rate in Lezha County was 10.2 per 1,000, while the average countrywide was 7.7.
In addition to Lezha, other circles that have a higher rate than the national average for related marriages are Berat with 9.2 marriages per 1,000 inhabitants, Dibra with 8.7, Durres and Fieri, respectively, with 8.3 and Elbasan with 8.2.
While other circles follow down at a lower rate than the average, like Vlora, where some 7.6 marriages per 1000 residents were linked, or Shkodra with 7.4 marriages per 1,000 residents.
Kukes, Gjirokastra, and Corca have had a rate of 7,1 marriages per 1,000 during the following year.
The lowest record of marriages connected during 2017 holds the capital, where much of the population is concentrated, where income and the chances of finding a job are higher, writes accordor.
But even though there is a higher perspective than other districts in capitals according to Insta's data, 6.8 marriages per 1000 residents were linked, or about 4 marriages less than in Lezha.
