Albanians feel provoked by Vuciqi photo on Shtrpce official page

The picture in which the mayor of the municipality of Shrpca, along with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, is considered provocation by the Albanian community.

Although it is on behalf of the municipality and all announcements of municipal assembly sessions take place on this page, the chairman of the Shtrpce municipality, Bratislav Nikolic, has said it is a private account and that it can post whatever it wants.

But this issue has also been raised in the Communist Assembly by the opposition. Rifat Rrustemi, adviser to the Shrpca KK, has said that initially the municipality violated the Law for Local Self-Government and municipal regulation for the use of symbols, so it has asked competent bodies to take measures against this provocation, which the municipality executive has made.

But Rosafa Ukimeraj, secretary from the Ministry of Management of Local Power, has said the government still does not have a policy on using social media both by executive and by municipalities.
