The prosecutor says investigations into the job are continuing. Meanwhile, they claim that the victim's wife was interviewed. But the suspect in this prosecution murder has not yet been questioned. That's because of his emotional state.
No one knows how AKI worker Isa Sejdiu was killed at his workplace during September 4th this year. The event remains completely unclear, even as this murder occurred in the country's highest security institution. Sejdiu was killed with two bullets from his colleague, as well as employees in AKI, Valon Iberdemaj. The latest one, the Court has pronounced the detention measure for a month.
But, on the part of Kosovo investigators, the reason for this murder has not yet been learned. At least that's how the prosecutor in the case, Ilaz Beqiri, is stating. He has detailed the investigation into this murder Monday.
Ilazi has explained that the victim's wife ( Isa Sedius. But the same is true of him during the interview he said that her husband had never expressed any concerns about his reports with his colleague. He claimed he did not recognize him.
We interviewed the victim's wife. She knows nothing. He said the man never told him they had anything wrong. He said he never saw the suspect in the murder”, clarified for Express, Ilaz Beqiri, who is in charge of the case.
He said the motives are still unknown. But that the prosecution has received some evidence that will send for examination.
And meanwhile, the State Prosecutor has not yet interviewed the prime suspect in the murder, Sejdiu's colleague Valon Iberdemey. The same prosecutor made several psychiatric visits. So his protective side asked him not to be interviewed at this time.
We're conducting investigations. We're just waiting for some tests, the gun, some phones. The weather is still unknown. We haven't interviewed the suspect yet. They sent something to the psychiatrist. His lawyer said he was unable once to give a statement”, he declared Ilazi.
Pristina Deputy Prosecutor-in-chief Ibrahim Berisha has also spoken of the job. The same stated that this issue is still in the phase of investigations.
Iberdee had been an agent in AKI for a while. But his incorrigibly working behavior has caused AKI officials to change their position from agent to security for months.
He's been working security for months. He was an agent before. We don't know why it happened. There have been no bad reports”, sources say about this event.
Meanwhile, during Monday day, Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director (AKI), Shpend Maxhuni, has reported today before the Commission for Supervising this institution. It provided details of the murder that took place within this institution a few weeks ago.
Although no details were made public, the chairman of this Commission, Ganimetie Musliu, has said they only know them, adding that the case has already been passed to the Prosecutor.
“Today we had the Shpend Maxhun report. In detail, he informed us of all the developments in the country. The murder in AKI is a serious tragic case of disturbing proportions. The prosecution's taking the case”, Musliu said yesterday.
Musliu said to have asked the director of AKI for such a case never to happen there.
“Today we've only dealt with the principal's work, not the Chief Inspector. The murder case has been passed to the prosecution, and every statement of ours undermines the process, and we are interested in not hurting this case and the authority to receive due punishment. We wanted the last case not to be repeated”, she added.
In addition, against suspects in Isa Sejdiu's murder, a month-long detention measure has been scheduled. He did not want to speak before the court by choosing to defend himself silently. In the meantime a personal gun and car were seized..
