Minister Tahiri has told the paper that the process has been orderly. He has thanked Thaci for the work done for months as director, writes Koha Ditore today.
“I have to stress that the director of the SHKK, Mr. Nehat Thaci, has started work the first quarter of this year. During this time, Kosovo's Correcting Service has advanced greatly and for the first time is being transformed into a genuine security mechanism and full respect for the standards and dignity of persons in the suffering of sentence”, Tahiri has declared.
He has named the process extremely regular for the fact that it has been guided by international factors.
Moreover, the process has been led by the Ministry of Public Administration, with participation of foreign assessments by the company engaged by the British Embassy, as well as representatives from EULEX, where all three sides have had unanimous assessment of the success of the selection process”, Tahiri has said.
The decision to cancel the competition has been described as strange.
