Kosovo's Olympic Committee will take over “Pristina's main square, with activities held in February and linked to the 10th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
As of 9-25 February, the KOK will host the PyongChang2018 Olympic Festival in Pristina, where for 16 days the PyongCang2018 Winter Olympics will be held at “Zahir Pajaziti” Square will promote new sports. In this case, the KOK becomes the ninth Olympic Committee to win the organisation of such a festival, based on pilot the International Olympic Committee project.
The KOK will bring the synthetic ice field through which citizens, especially children, will practice hockey, skating and carling sports under the supervision of experts in the field.
In addition, those present will be able to attend a large screen live LOD PyongChang 2018, as well as the opening and closing ceremony, at which the Kosovo Olympic team will also be unearthed for the first time.
At the same time, but on February 12th, the KOK will also directly contribute to the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence, hosting the fourth edition of the 2018 Sport Fair, which will be held in Pristina's main square.
In Panair they are expected to defil numerous clubs in the capital, until primary school children have the chance to learn their favorite ABC.
The KOK invites all Kosovo citizens to become part of these two projects, to mark Kosovo's 10th anniversary of independence.
