One of the reasons Serbia's military neutrality is respected and why it will be respected in future conflicts is the force of our army, says Serbian Defence Minister Alexander Vulin. “NATO unconditionally respects our neutrality, just like the Association of Collective Security Treaty (OCCB), the Russian Federation and all [...]

“NATO unconditionally respects our neutrality, just as the Association of Collective Security Treaty (OCCB), the Russian Federation and all other countries respect it, but one of the reasons why it happens is our military power”, Vulin told “Tanjunjugun”.

If you're weak, if you don't have the chance to stand behind your decisions and guarantee your strength, then your neutrality is not respected, and each of your country will take what it needs. Neutrals are against any kind of global conflict, we will remain neutral in the military and all will respect our neutrality, because it would make no sense to make a powerful enemy from Serbia, especially when we are not the nobody”, said the vulin, reports “b92”, the Periscopi broadcast.

Serbia has no reason to intimidate anyone because its politics and behavior have not caused any reactions, the minister said, so he believes it would be really difficult to find the reason for someone to clash with our country.

However, he notes there are other security threats which are not in a pact such as terrorist, cyber threats, migrations, which as a global crisis bear numerous challenges and threats, the Serbian minister says./Periscopi/
