Publicist Veton Surroi's writer on Facebook today has indirectly commented on today's acts of prejudice against four of Vetevendosje deputies, broadcast Koha.net.
After publishing the act, Surroi in his Facebook profile has made three proposals which, according to him, in Kosovo would bring general reconciliation.
For starters, he has proposed drafting a draft amnesty law by Vetevendosje deputies four of whom was sentenced to prison on bail.
He has said that this bill would have to have the support of parliamentary groups, while in the end, the draft in quick procedure would have to review and adopt the amnesty Law.
This is Surroi's post:
A proposal for reconciliation:
1. The Kosovo government must draft the Kosovo Assembly deputies' amnesty bill, which in 2015-2017, in an unusual situation and by unusual means, within the Kosovo Assembly object protected Kosovo's constitutional order from the damage it has been able to cause to the Serbian Communist Association Agreement. With this law, current judicial decisions or the opening of future legal procedures against Kosovo Assembly deputies who used means outside parliamentary norms to protect the country's Constitution are suspended.
2. The bill should receive the exclusive support of the parliamentary Groups, whose representatives at a joint ceremony would sign the support document.
3. The Kosovo Assembly in its first meeting, with accelerated procedure, must review and adopt the amnesty Law.
With these three steps, Kosovo's political parties would manifest, among other things, the need to overcome the polarisations of the past, the need for unity and readiness for solidarity regardless of who is in power or opposition.
With that, the parties would also pledge that, in the future, on vital issues of the country, they will make decisions only on the basis of consensus.
