The participation of a parliamentary delegation from Kosovo at the funeral of former delegation Oliver Ivanovic, “Gatisity to stand on political differences and unfinished conflict” would be a fitting sign at the right moment, honours the institution and the country, says writer Veton Surroi's publicist.
The program, through a Facebook post, considers that “would be the right sign at the right time, the Kosovo Assembly's announcement to the parliamentary delegation -- composed of power and opposition -- that would take part in the funeral of Oliver Ivanovic, former Kosovo Assembly deputy” -- has written Surroi.
“At moments like this, the willingness to stand on political differences and the unfinished conflict does honor the institution and the country”, he wrote.
Former Serbian leader and former Kosovo Assembly President Oliver Ivanovic was killed yesterday, by strikers for the now unknown, during an attack on party Citizens Initiative offices in the northern part of Mitrovica.
