She made these comments at the Commission's Committee for Legislation meeting, Mandate, Immune, the Parliament Rule and oversight of the Anti-Corruption Agency, where Bill No. 06/L-004 for changing and completing Law No. 03/L-094 for the president of the Republic of Kosovo.
MP Haxhiu has said it is unfair to raise wages from 1,000 to 3 thousand euros, at the time when there is high poverty rates in Kosovo.
“As far as Prime Minister Haradinaj's decision on salaries, the government I have sent to the Anti-Corruption Agency because of the conflict of interest. We're sending him to the Constitutional Court as a parliamentary group. With its double salary increased by about 1,000 to 3 thousand citizens, 4 percent fall 16 or 20 euros per month on the base salary. This is unfair, this is a mockery of citizens and of course must be cut off”, Haxhiu said. /Periscopi/
