United States President Donald Trump has indicated that he hoped the new talks between North and South Korea would extend “beyond the” Olympic Games and promised that the United States will participate “at the right time”.
President Trump at an unusual press conference from the presidential residence in Camp David, where he is meeting with republican lawmakers, said in connection with the upcoming talks between Seoul and Pyongyang that “hoped to go well”.
I'd like to see them expand beyond the Olympics. And at the right time, we will be involved”, he added.
North Korea accepted South Korea's bid for high-level talks about the Olympic Games. Talks will be held on January 9th in the ceasefire village of “Panmujom”, in the demilitarised zone between the two Koreas.
