President Hashim Thaci had stated last year that he would resign if the Parliament did not vote for the transformation of KSF into the Armed Forces. But even after a year Kosovo does not have its own army, as Thaci continues to remain at the helm of the highest state institution.
KSF transformation remains hostage to Serb List deputies' objections
The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, had promised a year earlier that if the Kosovo Assembly does not vote to transform the Kosovo Security Force into the military, it would resign from the position of first state.
