Various leaders, presidents and prime ministers, have gathered at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where they are discussing various possibilities of political and economic co-operation. Republic President Hashim Thaci, who declared for Kosovo, represents Kosovo RTK that this forum is a good opportunity to discuss many issues.
One of them, the president said that as for Kosovo, but the region is also dialogue with Serbia.
He said this dialogue on normalising relations between the two states would resume soon, though it did not give any timetable when this dialogue could be completed. He said that within the framework of the informal meeting, titled “The new born men for Europe”, among other things, has talked to Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq.
According to Thaci, with his Serbian counterpart, the meeting was correct and has been discussed on the current issues between the two countries, primarily dealing with those related to dialogue.
On Thursday morning, President Thaci also attended the meeting of European leaders, which was held under the World Economic Forum in Davos. Among other things, at the forum, Thaci, along with other leaders of the European states and those of the Western Balkans, attended the meeting, led by World Economic Forum President Borge Brande.
As president of the Republic stated, it has also discussed Europe's role in the world and possible co-operation to make Europe more developed, stronger and modern. During the day, Thaci will also be participating in other forum sessions and will hold bilateral meetings even with representatives of various states.
However, for various reasons, forums are not open to the media. Meanwhile, security measures are very strong in Davos. Helicopters and police forces have blocked this entire tourist village.
