A high school student from Decani has embarrassed some Kosovo Assembly deputies during a meeting today at the Assembly building.
A group of students at the school “with Prizren” from Decani have come to Pristina today to apply for a British visa for a visit to the island since they have been selected as the best students in the municipality.
The Kosovo Assembly has opened these students to attend a meeting of the Parliamentary Commission for Public Administration and Media.
The deputy chairman of this commission, Xhevahire Izmaku (PDK), spoke to the students about the possibility they have to visit the institution that makes the laws of the country, which she said did not have when she was the age of young visitors.
I've been able to visit the House at your age because of the next situation. I have a message: learn, develop, don't intend to be politicians”, Izmaku said.
Arba Abashi of the PDK successfully congratulated students on their tour of England.
“You have been our mirror there, deforest it to the maximum and the best you have there to bring to Kosovo and Decan”, Abrashi said.
But one of the students was not impressed by the opportunity to visit the Parliament or the praise they received from MPs.
His date was news awaiting most Kosovars for visa liberalisation, which is in the hands of MPs.
“E has a direct question, is visa liberalisation near, because we know there are complications in obtaining visas and wishing by days”, one of the students said.
“Don't get us into these”, was the short response of Commission Chairman Nat Hasani, deputy PDK.
