Road police services across the country have been extended to all troubled excises, where they guide drivers to be cautious and to regulate speed.
Rain, snow, and darkness make it difficult to move and increase the risk of road accidents.
The Road Police Directorate appeals to all drivers to be careful, to moderate speed, not to perform wrong passageways, to wear seat belts, bicycle helmets, and motorcycles, and not to direct the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
While in the excises such as the Nation's Causeway or deep mountain axes, where there is a presence of snow, chain circulation is recommended despite snow's thickness.
