This is a very bad recognition even against the then Foreign Ministry, says “Politicalo”, referring to a source from diplomatic circles.
The same unidentified source says there is no exchange of notes between the foreign ministries of Egypt and Kosovo, but only through a verbal statement by former ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Atita, reports “928x1>, Periscopi broadcast.
This all happened on June 26, 2013, three days before the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood. This verbal recognition was the result of some internal calculations of the Muslim Brotherhood and the external pressures they were subjected to,” said the Belgrade newspaper's conversationor, commenting on information Egypt is considering attracting recognition.
According to him, the common way to recognise the state is to write notes on the establishment of diplomatic relations and the opening of embassies, but in this case this did not happen.
Serbian diplomats, also on several occasions, and officials from Amman could hear that the country did not recognise Kosovo, the text says.
Asked whether it was true that Egypt could withdraw the decision for Kosovo recognition, Serbia's first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic will see the Serbian newspaper briefly.
At the same time, Egyptian Ambassador to Belgrade Ezldin Fahmi Mahmoud Fahmi says the embassy has no official information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Egyptian government and that “it cannot rely on information published in some newspapers”. /Periscopi/
