Dikovic was invited to visit by Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces Joseph Dunford to attend the Conference of Chiefs of General Staff in the fight against terrorism that was held on 23-24 October 2017 in Washington.
Dickovic has received the invitation, and from the Serbian Defence Ministry's respective defence services in time has initiated procedures to equip him with visas for US travel.
The “is true that despite the timely submission of visa application, it has not been received and official reasoning on causes and current status of app” is said to be clarified by the Serbian Defence Ministry, which has added that Dikoviqi has so far travelled to the US at the invitation of US military officials.
