The flood level reached the level of 5,84m on Monday and is not expected to land before Tuesday.
About 1,500 people have been evacuated from their homes, in the largest region of Paris, while a large number of homes remain without electricity, the BBC writes, follows Kosovas.
We remember that in the last flood in Paris in 2016, the river reached an altitude of 6.1m.
Seven stations of a main passenger line, RER C, now closed until at least 5 February, and several highways have been closed for circulation.
Renowned tourist ships from the town of Bateaux Mouches are out of service, with which only emergency services are allowed to use the river.
