Sali Berisha says Edi Rama hinders placing Rugova memorial in Tirana

In a Facebook post, Sali Berisha, former prime minister and former president of Albania, has commemorated Kosovo's historic leader. He has said Rama has blocked the establishment of Ibrahim Rugova's memorial in Tirana. Rama, on his Facebook page, has not commemorated the anniversary of Rugova's death, even though he usually commemorates every Albanian personality.

Sali Berisha today has commemorated Ibrahim Rugova, on the 12th anniversary of the death of Kosovo's historic president.

Albania's prime minister and former president has written on his Facebook account that Rugova's work is immortal.

He has also accused Albania's current prime minister, Edi Rama, of blocking the deployment of a monument to Rugova in Tirana.

And the Albanian chief executive, unlike his predecessors, on his Facebook page has not commemorated Rugova.

Rama usually commemorates every Albanian personality in its social network account.

Dear friends, today it is the 12th anniversary of the life separation of the legendary President, the visionary genius of the Albanian nation, the architect of Kosovo's freedom and independence. Albanians around the world today honour with limitless gratitude the immortal work of President Rugova, the man of state who melted lives for free, independent and European Kosovo, and for all he did for our national freedom and dignity.
For nearly five years, Albanofobi Edwin Christaq Rama, the man who has put the golden key of the country's centre, on the chest of family fan Bregovic, has blocked the September of President Rugova in Tirana, but Gandhi of Albanians, Balkans and Europe lives forever in the minds, hearts and freedom of our entire nation! sb
