Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the meeting of the Socialist Party's parliamentary group, has made several points of meeting with Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras. According to Rama, a historic agreement is being reached with Greece, as it is working in many ways.
The prime minister said it is working for the Law of War and the community to guarantee it full rights, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
I agree with the impression that the moment of signing a new document for strategic partnership with Greece is very close. We have to wait for the report written on a series of topics, affecting the 70-year arch, ranging from the absurd law of war to the community, to have free movement and full legal excises in terms of property rights. We are also working and facilitating all relations that condition the large community of Albanians in Greece in terms of bureaucracy and movement, the conclusion of the process and guaranteeing these relations, but also through the conclusion of an agreement between the two interior ministries, which constitutes a significant step before”, Albania's prime minister said.
On the other hand, Albania's prime minister said we are looking with great sympathy at the dialogue between Greece and Macedonia, where these difficult negotiations, according to Rama, will pave the way for Macedonia for its integration into NATO and the EU. While Monday, Albania's Commission for Foreign Policy in Parliament has called at a hearing concerning talks with Greece and the issue related to Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati.
