Davo's economic forum held works on January 23rd-26th 2018.
Under this forum, Prime Minister Edi Rama held a series of bilateral meetings with regional and world leaders, whose focus other than bilateral relations was the opening of negotiations for Albania's membership in the European Union.
Davos is a shortcut to define the World Economic Forum (“World Economic Forum” or WEF in English), which takes place each year at the end of January at this luxury ski station, sheltered in the middle of Swiss Apples.
Idead in 1971 by German economics professor Klaus Schwab as a country of conversation between European and American entrepreneurs, this 48th forum has become a major meeting of the world elite.
Each year, about 3 thousand participants, big owners, political responsible, intellectuals, environmental supporters or human rights supporters, artists, debate and often questioned by their opponents.
Some 70 heads of state and government attended the edition of 2018. / A T S
