Al-Qaeda has begun recruiting I fighters SIS

The recruiting campaign started last summer, before Isis loses power, underlining al-Qaeda's importance to take over their fighters.

Such an effort was launched by al-Qaeda militants in Algeria in August 2017.

The ten fighters who had fought for Isis changed the course behind debates with Islamic scholars over al-Qaeda, local security sources reported, reports The Guardian”, Periscope broadcast.

In the Sahel region of northern Africa, top al-Qaeda officials are believed to have been ambushed and killed four American special forces in the state of Nigeria in October.

At the same time a pro-al-Qaeda group operating in Yemen has “represented” some Isis fighters who had been disappointed with their leader. In Afghanistan, a group of Isis fighters in the far-off province, but strategically key central Ghor left the Taliban.

Such reports are being studied by Western security officials, hoping to understand the development of the threat posed by Isis in the months and years to come./Periscopi/
