Russian opposition leader Alexei Navally has been arrested again. His ban took place in Moscow, while attending an unauthorised protest, in which he called for the boycott of presidential elections. Earlier, police raided and offices of his anti-corruption foundation.
It is learned that another 27 people have been arrested by Russian police for protests called by the opposition leader. Navalny failed to run for president because of an earlier sentence, which analysts think was politically motivated.
While earlier Sunday, Russian police have conducted a search operation at the opposition leader's anti-corruption Foundation headquarters, Alexei Navalny.
The motive of the raid was for a “alarm for the” bomb. According to online media “Medduza”, reporting the news, agents have seized computers, servers and security telecames footage.
The operation took place on a day when anti-government and anti-electoral manifestations organised by Navalny took place throughout Russia.
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old regularly holds protests against President Vladimir Putin and has been arrested several times for their unauthorised development.
Putin, who refuses to call Navalny by name, claims he has great support from citizens in Russia and is expected to easily win a fourth term in terms of the Kremlin.
