The Chronic and Psychiatric Disease Centre in Shtime, although it has 63 patients for whom it cares 24 hours, continues to face a lack of medical staff.
This center, which deals with patients with psychiatric disorders, has an 11 - person medical staff, one psychiatrist and 10 nurses. So has the director of this center, Miftar Zenelay. He for Indexline said this staff isn't enough.
The total “Staf is 38 divided into three services Administration, medical and technical service. While, medical staff 11 (the psychiatrist and 10 nurses) are not enough” has been declared Zenelay in a response to the editorial.
To get information about why SHSKUK did not add staff to this center, Indexline called the number that was published on the SHSKUK site and sent enamel, but the latter did not respond.
And as for the number of patients in this center, it's 63 residents. Zenelaj says needs are bigger, but there are no capacities for more.
“Currently handle 63 resident patients, the changes are 2-3 patients per year (nevoys are larger but the capacity of this institution is 65 patients) “it added.
This center is the Mental Health Institute where patients are treated with psychiatric disorders that, apart from psychiatric treatment, have other specific care needs.
This institution provides 24 hours of health care and is an integral part of the second-level USKKUK.
