The State Prosecutor has announced that there is no progress in clarifying the murder of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic, who was sentenced to the first degree for war crimes in Kosovo.

Through a written answer, the State Prosecutor's Office has written that whenever new results are made, the public will report.

“reports that concerning the investigation into the murder that Oliver Ivanovis is working intensively on uncovering the perpetrators of this murder, whenever we have the latest results the public will be announced over the time”, State Prosecutor's spokesman, Ekrem Lutfiu, has told the news.

Oliver Ivanovic was killed in north Mitrovica 12 days ago. No one has yet been arrested, and there are no suspects. So far some people have been interviewed, but without any results.

The murdered Serbian politician was sentenced to the first degree as guilty of several crimes committed during the war in Kosovo. After the war, he had become Kosovo Parliamentary MP.

Recently, he has kept the line against Serbia's policy and has come up against the Srska List. In an interview given several days before he was killed, he has even said he is more endangered by Serbian gangs than by Albanians.
