The Ministry of Finance and Economic Odays have rejected the minimum wage increase to 250 euros proposed by the Social Economic Council.
But, Kosovo Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi said private sector workers in Kosovo work under serious conditions.
All parameters and indicators have voted for this in the Social Economic Council. There they have all voted economic opads”, he told RTK.
He expects the ECS decision to be respected by the Kosovo government.
According to him, there is a shortage of workers today. Thousands of workers have fled in recent years. This salary of 250 euros is symbolic growth”, he said.
According to him, if the trend of escape for Germany continues then even 500 euros to become the minimum wage will not have workers.
