President Expects Support From Bulgaria After Taking EU Presidency

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has congratulated Bulgaria's state on taking over the presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Thaci through a post on the social Facebook network has indicated he expects Bulgaria's voice to be heard more in Brussels and the EU.

“We welcome Bulgaria's chairmanship and expect the voice of the Western Balkans to be heard more in Brussels and the EU, asking them not to let our region slip away and slide into the interests of states and ideology that do not want good for the Balkans and Europe”, President Thaci wrote.

He has said Kosovo expresses its full support for promoting the quickest Western Balkans' integration into the EU.
