Kosovo police have sent a communiqué to the media that gives even more detailed clarifications on the SDP Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic's murder and the ongoing investigation into the crime. Police say they have provided information through confidential communication channels.
Police report that based on evidence collected so far, Ivanovic has been shot with 9x19mm calibre firearms on the “road. Sujeska” of Northern Mitrovica at 8:10, writes Periscopi.

Police report that the criminal examination of all evidence is currently under way.
“In the continuation of the ongoing investigations Kosovo Police have secured the scene and processed the sight of the event site, where relevant evidence has been collected in the case. Now we're in the process of criminal examination of all the evidence. In particular, they are being released, analysed and assessed the videos taken by security cameras, which were taken at the scene or connected to the site, as well as other material evidence. The investigative team, consisting of specialised officials for these cases, including Rand Crimes Investigation officials, the Central Forenzic team, IT Forenzice, intelligence officials, Directorate for International Co-operation, have been fully engaged in processing all data that connects with this case”, said in communiques.
Police also say that several witnesses have been interviewed so far, and some information has been accepted through secure communication channels.

Police also provide information on the car burned after Ivanovic's murder.

All activities have been co-ordinated and carried out under the authority of the Basic Prosecutor in Mitrovica. Also parallel to investigative actions, Kosovo Police have taken measures in terms of increased security, including increasing police presence in several locations identified as sensitive, with the aim of preventing any incident.
