On the night of the weather shift, a person has been shot blind to the front of his chest but has been released home after medical treatment, since the bullet has caused him only one wound under the skin.
On the same day in Kosovo's University Clinical Centre emergency, 20 people have sought medical help from injury with pyrotechnic means.
This has made it known, Agron Citaku, a QKUK emergency specialist who said that injured during the New Year's celebration, are less than the past years.
“What is more important than hurt by explosive devices, explosives have been much less than other years. We're dealing with an estimated 20 cases of pethard injuries and one wounded by a stray bullet. The person's condition is fine, handled here and went home. More than that, there's been a leprechaun wound that penetrated lead and went home. He was wounded in the front of his chest. Even those after the treatment thanking the medical teams that have been treated here have received adequate therapy and can come back if there is a need for”, he suggested.
And 12 people in emergency homes have also sought help as a result of injuries suffered in traffic accidents.
Citaku made it known that such ones had been vulnerable and that after treatment they were released home.
We haven't been without this change, unfortunately, but it hasn't been a big number, mostly minor injuries. The exact number according to the evidence we got us somewhere is 12-13 injured in accidents, but they're not seriously injured, thankfully”, he said.
Last year in the change of weather to QKUK emergency, a person had lost his life in a traffic accident, while 22 people had sought medical help from injuries by pyrotechnic means
