Former Serbian journalist in Kosovo Bojan Bozovic has gone on hunger strike with the only reason that he is out of work and without support from the state of Kosovo.

In his Facebook post, Bozovic wrote he is at the regional hospital in southern Mitrovica, receiving medical treatment because he has heart problems.

He told Periscop I'd protest to death until there's a solution.

He says he will remain on hunger strike until the country's officials react to improving the conditions of his life and his family.

This is a full post:

Dear friends. It's the second day I've decided to go on hunger strike and not drink water in order to draw attention to without justice to me.

I have no secure work and no kind of assistance from the state of Kosovo, and now even personal documents can be obtained. I can't get my driver's license without a witness from the Serbian MUP and you all know that I in Serbia never want to go.

That's why I decided to pray to the president, the prime minister and the police minister to get me an adequate job and after no condition to change the driver of the Republic of Serbia's license with that of the Republic of Kosovo.

Until I get these two conditions, I won't get any food or water or heart therapy.

Doctors at the southern Mitrovica hospital have advised me that if I don't take my medicine and water, my health will deteriorate during the day.

While I, however, have decided to continue with the strike until my demands are met and I await the answer from Kosovo officials.

I am sure that Kosovo journalists also support me to realise my rights and inform me of my demands.
