Riyadh Rasiti, a member of the PDK's Headship in Gjilan, has told KALLXO.com that at the PDK leadership meeting, most have voted against the launch of coalition talks with the LDK.
We had a written request from Lutfi Haziri for a meeting to negotiate a coalition. The PDK has had the leadership meeting, the absolute majority have opposed the start of the talks, refused to negotiate either for the coalition, because they are scheduled to remain in opposition in the mandate currently under way, Rashi stressed.
He added that a small number of members of the leadership wanted to consider the possibility that Lutfi Haziri offered them.
A few days ago, Lutfi Haziri, chairman of Gjilan, has announced that a team that will handle discussions with political parties for the coalition was appointed at a meeting of the LDK Branch Headship.
In the October 22nd local elections, Haziri from LDK had gone to the runoff with Sami Kurtesh of the VV, which he firmly defeated in the second round of elections on November 19th 2017.
