In honour of the life and work of hero Zahir Pajazit, Pristina municipality deputy head Selim Pacolli, has been homazhe in September in the capital.
By extolling and praising the work of Zahir Pajazit, he said such honors are being done so that the works of our heroes, those who have contributed to the freedom that we enjoy today.
“Today we were to place a bouquet of flowers near the bust of hero Zahir Pajaziti, however symbolicly not to forget the deeds of our heroes, let not the works of warriors and those who laid the first foundation of freedom that we are enjoying today. Glory to all martyrs of the nation “, He said.
In January 1997, Zahir Pajazit's group was discovered by Serbian security. On January 31st, he was travelling from Pristina to Vushtrri, along with fellow fighter Edmond Hoxha and his nephew Hakif Zejnullahu, where Serb forces had been ambushed in the village of Pestovo, and all three are heroicly falling into war with them.
