“During my visit to Strasbourg, I also had a content meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, with whom we discussed issues of mutual interest and in parallel with this I announced for our purpose, to join this important Organisation for Human Rights and steps that we, like Kosovo and the foreign minister, have undertaken to achieve that goal. I've said in my previous statements that considering the respective procedures, we expect to become the 48th member of this organization by 2020”, Pacolli said.
In the context of his visit to Strasbourg, Pacolli had also met the ambassadors of permanent representations by Kosovo's friendly and partner states, where he had secured support for that purpose.
