A group of nurses in Saudi Arabia who filmed themselves laughing as they crushed the face of a newborn hospital-based child with an infection have been fired.
The baby's parents became aware of the shocking treatment by nurses, as images appeared online and were divided into social media.
The video shows one of the nurses who grab the baby's neck and forehead, and cruelly presses the face of the helpless baby while her colleagues danced and laughed.
Three staff members at a eastern Taif city hospital, Saudi Arabia, were soon identified, the Oranews broadcast.
Their medical licenses have now been revoted and banned from working in other hospitals.
The baby's father told Saudi media that the baby was in hospital for ten days for treatment for a urinary lesion infection, and he was shocked to see the video spread widely to social media.
