The U.S. Embassy in Pristina is pleased to announce that starting in January 2018, it will begin with processing applications for all Emigration Visas (IV), for Kosovo residents. Over the past few years, IDV applicants were processed by the American Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia. As the United States Embassy in Pristina aims to provide high-level services to Kosovo applicants and is aware of the difficulties of travelling to Skopje, it has decided to expand visa service delivery to Pristina.
Emigration visas are for citizens who want to live forever in the United States. Emigrating visas are the first step to becoming permanent legal residents, or to be equipped with green cards. Although there are many types of Islamic visas, most migrants are equipped with visas based on the family category or employment. To be acceptable to apply for immigration visas, the foreign citizen must be sponsored by a close American citizen, or close legal resident, or a future employer. Sponsor starts the process by handing in a petition on behalf of foreign citizen at the State and Migration Service in the United States (USCIS). After the petition approval, applicants will be announced about the date of their term at a US Embassy abroad. With the approval of the Emigration Visit, they can use it to emigrate to the United States.
The US Embassy in Pristina expects to provide additional visa services in the following year. Please follow the Facebook Embassy page for innovations and updates. Your questions can be sent to: Pristina [email protected]
