Environment and Space Planning Minister Albena Resiti has talked about air pollution in Pristina at “Click” in Rtv21.
Resiti said the ecological tax paid for car registration should go to an ecological fund, which, she said, would have to be used for environmental protection.
However, the minister said this ecological tax paid by citizens goes to the Ministry of Finance and then splits up.
The minister said they are working on creating an ecological fund that would help the Ministry of Environment.
Developed “The developed states have the potential for any large signed contract, 30 percent or 20 percent of the contract to go to the environment, so they go to the Environment Ministry fund”, Resitaj said.
The minister said environmental protection problems are global challenges. Unlike the air pollution tomorrow in Pristina by 12:00 a protest will be held.
