And the tower conservation project, which is a process for freezing historic objects as well as preserving them is available since 2016.
Idriz Blakaj, director of the War Memorial Protection Agency, has told the news.net that 1.5m euros were earmarked for the process by 2018, but due to the Prekas Memorial Complex Law, which is under procedure, these vehicles are expected to be delayed.

Blakaj added that the trigger for restarting the procedure on this issue is the decline of the past government that was unable to start jobs.
“Law had passed to the first reading but the government fell and now needs new procedure from the start, the law has returned to the government and from there comes the Parliament for approval. ” stressed Blakaj.
Blakaj added that it is impossible for them as the Agency without the adoption of the Jasharani Memorial Complex Law to announce the tender for the conservation of the towers, stressing that the tender must be international and that they are waiting for the adoption of this law.
With no approval of the law, we as the Agency cannot declare the tender for conservation because the law provides for an institutional commission to declare the tender and select the winning company. The tender must be international. We are waiting for the adoption of the law. ” shows Blakaj.
But will these separate means from the Kosovo government suffice for this process?
According to Blakaj, though it depends on offers this process is expected to cost about 6m euros, which is 4.5m euros more than the amount shared by the Kosovo government.
On the other hand, Blakaj says about news.net, they've taken steps to preserve the towers by covering them with tin, but that doesn't provide them with stability, saying that every day the delay of this process poses a major threat to the preservation of towers.
“According to the conservative project will cost around 6m euros, but that depends on the bids. Conservation is too late, but if they don't get hurt, they're first covered with tin. Every late day poses danger to the” towers, Blakaj concluded.
