The Commission for Investigation of Accidents and Aeronautic Incidents (KHAIA) in the prime minister's office, in accordance with legal obligations, has signed a memorandum of co-operation with the Minister of the Kosovo Security Force, which regulates the way to provide support to the Kosovo Security Force for KHAIA, in case of an air or railway accident in the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the Government's announcement, the memorandum was signed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Kosovo Security, Shozen Sylaya, and the KHAIA presiding leader Mirsim Beqiri.
Support will be provided by KSF's search-out units, with the aim of finding missing persons, black boxes as well as other materials, targets of KHAIA investigations and research. Also, KHAIA will support KHAIA in transport of wastes in the event of a butterfly accident and trains from the country of transportation to the location assigned by KHAIA”, the report said.
The Commission for Investigation of Aeronautics and Railways Accidents at the Office of the Prime Minister is responsible for investigating accidents and aircraft and aircraft and aircraft incidents, and participating in the quality of observers worldwide if there is an accident with victims from the Republic of Kosovo citizens.
