Macedonia, urged by president not to decree Albanian-language Law

Through a public letter, the key members of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Katica Kjulafkova, Gordana Siljanovska and Simona Madzoska said the law puts the constitutional status of the Macedonian language at risk, recognising bilingual and a kind of two-nation identity. These persons are known for tough attitudes against Albanians.
However, even if Ivanov does not decree it, the law is restored to the Assembly, and after approval automatically comes into force. The only way for this law to fall is if Macedonia's Constitutional Court rules against it.
