Prime Minister-designated Dosier's adviser on the missing persons issue, Jahja Luka, has today met with the family of missing persons from the Podujevo municipality at the meeting organised by the Association of Forko.
The families present were informed about the planning of the Government of Kosovo, that the issue of missing persons to be addressed with particular priorities, posing the initiative, with all acters engaged in this process, in preparing the Joint Action Plan, as well as including the inclusion of the change of the Law on Missing Persons to the concept of the constitution for 2018, the support of the Government provided for the families of missing persons through the separation of 30 thousand euros, or even the separation of 3,500 euros for some of the specific cases of families of missing persons.
Dosje's holder on the missing persons issue, Jahja Luka, said Serbia should stop playing on the issue of missing persons and open archives and be more cooperative, since it is known that Serbia has not done any action during the war without plan or concept.
The chairman of the Fork Association, Latif Mehmeti and the other family members present raised concerns about the delays in identifying mortore remains in Morgun, Pristina, then on family rights and benefits that must be handled by law, as well as requirements for greater institutional support.
