Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has confirmed that under legislative changes next week, the Law for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council will be prosecuted in Government and later in the Assembly, the package of judiciary and prosecutorial laws, in which the Law for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council was part.
Tahiri has said at the prosecutors' annual conference that they are committed to offering an adequate legislation that presents a reform on themselves.
The next “week will be prosecuted in Government and later in the Assembly the package of judiciary and prosecutorial laws, in which the Law for the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo is part of, while, under consideration in the Assembly is the draft law for the state prosecutor, these initiatives enable the prosecution institution to make greater flexibility in its work“, Tahiri said.
He added that changes in the Penal Code have already been completed.
“We have already completed the changes to the Penal Code and are working intensively on the Convention of Criminal Procedure, the draft codes these will soon be in the Assembly's agenda for approval “, Tahiri said.
Tahiri stressed how the justice minister is promoting deeper reform ever made in the field of justice.
