Responding to the question of the Belgrade newspaper “Blic” whether the Kosovo Army really is a threat to the stability of the Scott region has said:
I don't see why the Kosovo Army would be a bigger threat than they are, for example, the Army of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria...”.
Scott has also shown the way the Kosovo Army should be formed:
It must be formed under the Kosovo Constitution, and this requires consultation of all peoples living there. We support Kosovo's independence and every state has the right to select a strategic partner and within its territory to form security forces, but this requires reconciliation of all people living in Kosovo”.
