Kosovo has two months to ratify demarcation to reach visa deadlines

Kosovo has only two months to ratify demarcation in order to reach deadlines for visa liberalisation this year. On the contrary, procrastinating this process for more time will complicate this process, for the fact that in 2019 the European Union will enter the election process and, therefore, visa liberalisation for Kosovars could be postponed for a long time”, European Integration Minister Dona Hoxha stressed in a proposal given to public television.

Minister Hoxha, who comes from the PDK ranks, is optimistic that the month February will bring concrete moves towards demarcation -- these, according to her, will directly influence the visa liberalisation process.
