In its presentation at this conference, Resitaj spoke of the importance of a clean environment, assessing that it is one, inseparable and does not know borders, so beyond ethnic and religious differences we should be together in saving the environment from pollution.
“On this line I have proposed a meeting of environmental ministers from neighbouring countries for the possibility of implementing a joint project for handling waste and converting them into gas, energy and central heating”, Resitiy said.
As for the environment in Kosovo, Reshimaj has said that as a new state, we have noted progress in improving the situation, both in terms of harmonising policies and laws with EU standards and in implementing them.
