A teenager was shot dead in front of terrified friends in a gang - style attack at a youth center in Amsterdam.
Witnesses said that masked men armed with at least one automatic weapon attacked the building in the Dutch town's Grottenburgerstraat area, seeking to see the victim.
Teenagers who participated in kickboxing and cooking lessons hid under tables after the killers opened fire.
Reports in the Netherlands show that the dead boy was Mohammed B, a 17-year-old Moroccan immigrant.
A centre worker suffered a walking injury, says Het Parol, while a 19-year-old was hospitalised after the murder.
The shooting took place at the Wintenburg Youth Center, where lessons were taking place when the young man was killed.
It's believed he was shot inside the building.
Dutch police first announced through a tweet that many people had been shot, by several shots.
No arrests have been made.
