In a issued response, KFOR has stressed that within its mandate it also co-operates closely with the Kosovo side and with the Serb side in order to ensure a safe and secure environment.

“Referring to reports of Albanian and Serbian media, concerning information allegedly offered by KFOR to Serbian military authorities, KFOR estimates the situation in Kosovo is calm and stable. KFOR will continue to act for a safe environment and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo”. KFOR, under its mandate, maintains close ties and frequent exchange of information with Kosovo and Serbia institutions, neighbouring countries and also the International Organisations. Therefore in the presence of any warning that might affect the security situation, KFOR announces that it is willing to take any measures necessary to keep Kosovo safe, in close co-operation with Kosovo Police and EULEX, for the benefit of every citizen living in Kosovo”, says KFOR report,
