KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore Kouc visited the Northern Mitrovica municipality today and met with North Mitrovica Municipal Administration Chief Adrijana Hodzic.
Among other things, the general security of citizens in the Northern Mitrovica municipality was the theme of the meeting.
Major General Kouc stressed that KFOR will continue to provide security in northern Mitrovica, as well as counting on correct co-operation of the local self-government of the municipality of northern Mitrovica.
On the other hand, Hodzic stressed that he expects KFOR to be up to the task when it comes to the security of northern Mitrovica citizens and, in this case, confirmed the readiness of local self-government for co-operation with KFOR.
